Mornese project
Mornese is the place where the Cofoundress of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians was born. It was here that Maria Domenica Mazzarello met Don Bosco and, with him, she gave life to the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters - FMA). Mornese is the place where the Salesian charism found its original feminine expression. From here women wholly devoted to God set out to realize their vocation through education of youth throughout the world. We are, therefore, a missionary and educative institute. Mornese is, for us, the place where the source of its spirit continues to flow for everyonyone who wishes to return to its spiritual roots: FMA and youth, and all those who long to live times and moments of prayer, reflection and silence.
At the MAZZARELLI there is the House of Spiritual retreats and of courses of spirituality.
The COLLEGIO is also a center of spirituality: it welcomes FMA and groups of youth, offering them educative projects, Spiritual Retreats and courses of spirituality.
The VALPONASCA is a place of silence, of "desert" and of contemplation. During the good season, single and groups can spend the whole day there.
